About ELRO Systems

ELRO Systems is a deep‑tech engineering company focused on creating the next generation of compute primitives — foundational technologies that were previously considered impossible. Founded by Stephen Forsyth, ELRO Systems challenges the assumptions that modern computing is built upon, rejecting the fragile, abstraction‑heavy architectures that dominate the industry today.

We are not defined by a single discipline or a narrow technical category. We are defined by creation — by building new forms of computation that expand what machines can do and how they behave. Our work centres on execution substrates that operate beneath the layers the industry has grown dependent on, restoring clarity, physical correctness, and new capabilities to global compute.

ELRO Systems exists to build technology that redefines the boundaries of computation itself.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to create future compute primitives — new foundational technologies that reshape how real‑time critical systems operate across the world. We focus on contributions that matter: new execution substrates, new behaviours, new capabilities that allow machines to operate with precision, stability, and physical alignment without requiring specialised hardware or billion‑dollar infrastructure.

We are not here to chase titles or industry status. We are here to expand the computational frontier and build what the industry overlooked, dismissed, or assumed was impossible.

Our mission is creation — not convention.

Founder Vision

Stephen Forsyth founded ELRO Systems with a deep obsession for systems architecture and an uncompromising focus on the underlying physics of computation. While the industry continues to stack abstraction on top of abstraction — each layer distancing engineers from the machine’s true behaviour — Stephen works beneath those layers, at the level where computation actually happens.

“I am obsessed with the underlying physics of computation and refuse to accept the limitations imposed by conventional architecture. I believe the industry has lost sight of what lies beneath the transistors.”

His perspective is grounded in first principles: modern systems are built for convenience, not correctness. They hide the machine behind frameworks, patterns, and assumptions that limit what engineers can create. Stephen rejects this model entirely. He imagines computation as it should behave — physically aligned, reproducible, and capable of new primitives that the industry never realised were possible.

His philosophy is direct: creation begins where abstraction ends. ELRO Systems follows this principle to build technology that contributes something genuinely new to global compute.
